Ey Up, Tha Queen-Huntin' Clot!

Tha's got a hive full of thousands of identical stripy little workers, all millin' about like shoppers on a Saturday in Leeds, and somewhere in t'middle of that chaos is thi queen. Unmarked. Invisible. Camouflaged better than a Yorkshireman at a free buffet.

Tha spends twenty minutes hunched over t'frames, sweatin', squintin', mutterin' "come on, where are ya, ya sneaky little madam" until thi back's seized up and thi bees have started givin' thee *that look*. Then tha either finds her by accident or — worse — doesn't, and spends t'rest of t'week convinced she's vanished into thin air like thi will to live on a Monday mornin'.

Stop it. Just stop it.

These queen markin' pens are thi answer. Five proper beekeepin' colours — white, yellow, red, green and blue — so tha can dab a tiny, precise little dot on her thorax and suddenly she stands out like a vicar in a nightclub. One quick, careful blob (and I mean *careful*, tha great ham-fisted lump, she's not a fence post) and from that moment on tha can spot her in two seconds flat. No more searchin', no more panic, no more accidental squishin' of t'most important bee in t'whole bloomin' colony.

They're the proper non-toxic, bee-safe pens made for t'job — not thi bairn's felt-tips from t'bottom of t'school bag. Fine tip so tha doesn't end up paintin' half her abdomen like she's been to a festival.

Dries quick, stays put, and lasts through all t'usual hive drama.

Now, tha's got two options, both belters:

Pick thi colour: Grab just t'one tha needs for this year (tha does know t'international colour code, doesn't tha? White for years endin' 1 or 6, yellow for 2 or 7, red for 3 or 8, green for 4 or 9, blue for 5 or 0. If tha didn't, well, tha does now, ya uncultured swine).

Or get t'full pack of five: All t'colours in one go, so tha's sorted for t'next five years without havin' to remember which shade tha's supposed to be usin'. Future-proofin' at its finest. Like buyin' a five-year supply of teabags, only more useful and less likely to go stale in t'cupboard.

Once she's marked, findin' her is easier than spotin' a pie on a plate. Thi inspections get quicker, thi stress drops, and tha actually looks like tha knows what tha's doin' instead of a bloke rummagin' through a haystack mutterin' to himself.

So do thi eyes, thi back, and thi queen a favour. Stop playin' hide and seek wi' t'most valuable insect on thi property and get her marked proper. Single colour or t'full rainbow — tha's choice.

Either way, stop wastin' daylight and get orderin' before she does another disappearing act. Now crack on, tha unmarked-queen muppet.

She's not gonna paint herself. 🐝👑🖊️
